The provision of a Mobile Triage Unit & Veterinary Clinic will give disaster affected native animals the best possible chances of survival in the support and recovery to disaster animals such as during the recent Victorian bushfires. This unit will supply a fully functioning, state of the art veterinarian clinic, which can be deployed rapidly and will provide an improved working environment for volunteers on the ground at the disaster. The new public display Gorilla habitat will be a huge 10,000m2 sanctuary that features wide-open spaces, climbing structures and indoor facilities. It will be the first stage in a $25 million jungle precinct.
